Clients reviews about MKJ Roofing Inc

I had a great experience with MKJ Roofing. When I called, I spoke with Marsin, and he came out as soon as he could with no hesitation. He took the time to inspect my roof because I noticed a few shingles that were slightly raised. I was upfront and explained that I knew my roof was older and would eventually need to be replaced, but I was hoping to see if a repair was possible in the meantime. Marsin came out, looked everything over, and fixed the issue at no charge. I truly did not expect that, and I really appreciated his honesty and generosity. Customer service like this stands out. When the time comes that I do need a new roof, MKJ Roofing will absolutely be the company I call. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and honest roofing company. ~ Erica L

Marcin the owner of MKJ is fantastic to work with and very personable. We had hail damage to our roof, gutters, and skylights. Marcin came and inspected the damage and worked with our insurance company. MKJ did a tear off and put new shingles on our home. They also replaced two skylights, replaced all of our gutters and did some fascia work too. Marcin is very detail oriented and has a great crew working for him. The crew did a great job cleaning up too after all of the work was completed. If you want your roofing, siding and gutters done professionally by a great team, call Marcin for a quote. I highly recommend Marcin and MKJ Roofing. ~ Stephen S

We recently hired MKJ Roofing to replace the garage roof at our property in Niles, and they did an outstanding job from start to finish. The crew removed all layers of old shingles, inspected the roof deck, and installed a full roofing system using high-quality IKO shingles. They followed all industry best practices, including synthetic underlayment, ice and water shield, new drip edge, ridge caps, vents, and proper flashing. The installation was done with care and attention to detail. They used galvanized nails, sealed all roof projections with premium caulking, and cleaned up thoroughly after the job—including using magnets to pick up stray nails. Communication was clear throughout the process, and MKJ honored the agreed-upon pricing. I appreciated the transparency around any additional costs like plywood or board replacement, which were explained in advance. The new roof looks great, and it’s backed by a 5-year installation warranty. I’d definitely recommend MKJ Roofing to anyone looking for reliable, quality workmanship. ~ Damian K

I wanted to give a shoutout to MKJ Roofing for doing such an AMAZING JOB installing my roof. I've never had a roof replaced before and didn't know what to expect. I called a couple of companies and luckily came across MKJ Roofing. I scheduled an estimate with Marcin and quickly hired MKJ. It was clear to me that Marcin was passionate and knowledgeable about roofing. He covered all my questions about the materials, aesthetics and quality and educated me about how many layers my roof had, the pro's/con's of different materials and went above and beyond to explain how different roofing materials hold up over time. Marcin provided samples and color suggestions and worked with us to pick the best roof that matched our needs. What I was really amazed at, is how quickly Marcin completed the roof after I received the estimate and signed, It was about a week from signing that the job was completed. MKJ finished in one day! Marcin and the team meticulously cleaned up all of the nails with a magnetic rake and had the crew walk the grounds cleaning for the last half hour. I haven't found a single nail yet. I highly recommend MKJ Roofing and wanted to thank them for their outstanding work, fair pricing and thorough cleanup. ~ Justin J
